Hyatung Waterfall

A tall ribbon of water dropping down a forested cliff in Tehrathum, claimed as one of the highest waterfalls in Nepal.
Hyatung (or Hyatrung) Falls tumbles in stages down a cliff in the Phedap area of Tehrathum. Local sources describe it as the tallest waterfall in Nepal, at around 365 m, though no official measurement has been published.
It is at its fullest in and just after the monsoon, when it can be heard long before it is seen. A short trail from the nearest road leads to a viewpoint; local youth groups have been improving facilities for visitors.
