Namaste Waterfall
A waterfall whose two streams seem to join like hands pressed together in greeting.
Namaste Jharana gets its name from its shape: two streams of water fall side by side and meet, looking like palms pressed together in the Nepali greeting. It lies in the hills between Dharan and Dhankuta, in a gorge surrounded by forest.
Reaching it takes a short drive and a walk down to the stream. It is best in and just after the monsoon, and the trails can be slippery then, so wear good shoes.
