Siddha Gufa
One of the largest caves in Nepal, a vast chamber of stalactites below Bandipur.
Siddha Gufa is a huge limestone cave on the slope between Bandipur and Bimalnagar on the highway. Its main chamber is some 400 m deep and tall enough for a small building, decorated with stalactites and stalagmites and home to bats.
Local guides with lamps lead visitors inside. The walk down from Bandipur takes about an hour and a half on a steep trail; you can continue down to Bimalnagar and catch a bus.
