Tamang Heritage Trail

A short circuit through stone Tamang villages like Gatlang and Briddim, with homestays, hot springs and Tibetan border views.
The Tamang Heritage Trail loops west of Syabrubesi through villages that have kept their stone houses, carved wooden windows, monasteries and traditions. Gatlang, with its old houses and Parvati Kunda lake, and Briddim, a model homestay village, are highlights.
The route visits the natural hot springs of Tatopani and the Nagthali pastures with views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal, and passes near the old fort of Rasuwagadhi on the border. It takes about a week and can be joined to the Langtang trek.
