Siraichuli
The highest point of Chitwan district, a Chepang hill with views from the Terai to the Himalaya.
Siraichuli (about 1,945 m) rises in the Mahabharat hills in the north of Chitwan district. The surrounding villages are home to the Chepang, one of Nepal's most marginalised indigenous groups, who traditionally lived by foraging and shifting cultivation.
The Chepang Hill Trail and community homestays let visitors walk through their villages, and the summit gives a remarkable view from the plains to Manaslu and Annapurna. Go with a local guide.
